Echinacea is also known as coneflowers.
These are new to my garden this year.
Here’s what has attracted me. They are beautiful, there is also a wide variety of colors to choose from. The blooms are very long-lasting too! Excellent cut flower for arrangements.
One primary reason I’m adding these is that they are Perinneals (they seed and come back year after year) this is a big plus for me. I’d like my garden to improve yearly with growth, and it not necessarily mean I’ve got to be constantly planting.
They are also drought tolerant, which is helpful with our current water conditions.
A bonus is they attract butterflies.
