It’s so fabulous to decorate your house for Halloween! The options are endless!! I think that’s why I love it so much, everyone sort of has their own twist on it. Spooky, scary or sweet it all works!
I’ve always loved Witches as my own personal theme, this year however I added some cute BATS to the mix. The best part it’s a very easy #DIY project.
Folding the bats a bit adds a great dimension to them
Bats are simple to make, all you need is some black poster paper, scissors, chalk or pen (to trace pattern) and a roll of double faced tape. Devanie has a great tutorial along with a free to use bat pattern that you can find here: http://devanieathome.com/bat/
I was a bit lazy and chose to use my cutter instead either a #cricut or #cameo will work, I also made three different sizes. With a bit and angles you can fit quite a few on each sheet. Just remember with thicker paper to reset your blade depth.
You can do things other then Bats, I also did some black Butterflies!! Or what about some Ravens or Crows? I think they would be amazing for Halloween .
Butterflies coming out of some black branches in the kitchen! FUN!
Here you can see how I carried the copper and black in the kitchen with Cute Copper Cauldron too!
