Hey everyone, yes I realize the sale was weeks ago… the big deal is sometimes I guess LUCK counts.

Anyhow being new to Michele Watches I got the fast track course at the counters of several Nordstrom counters.
Now here comes the experience part…
I continued to check in and see the anniversary watches pop up and off the website… guessing returns but unlike eBay you had to be even faster to nab one they didn’t last… and oh my gosh one night the diamond one appears! What Oh Wow!!! I ordered so fast!!! Well disappointment sat in 5 hours later with an email saying sorry they couldn’t fulfill my order (sad face) … however I did call and say gosh 5 hours that’s a long time for a computer to say oops.. Got a great customer service rep who said.. New Jersey was showing ONE and it was the only one in the entire country.. but it could be a computer error… OK I had to wait for NJ to open the next day…. I called at 10am EST sure enough it was real they had it! Sales associate explained how lucky they were to get it and that it had been long enough they had thrown out their waiting list names. YEP I ordered it and paid for express shipping I didn’t want it lost.
Here’s the deal that’s great about the computers when they do those scheduled adjustments … even though there had been wait lists.. and people still wanted this watch at the anniversary price of $1695 (reg $2695) it was showing sale at $1347.50 so the high demand so sought after anniversary watch from Michelle was not only being shipped to me I got it ON sale under the anniversary price! Wow felt like I’d hit a jackpot.
Now fast forward a few weeks.. and I was at South Coast Plaza, and walked thru Nordstroms… oh wow trunk show for Michele watches and the creative director for Michele was there… she couldn’t believe the price I had gotten for the Diamond Caber … and confirmed how much in demand they were and how more were made for Nordstrom (those level 4 unhappy ones whose orders got cancelled). She absolutely felt and still does that the pricing had to be an error.
Here’s the thing that was explained to me by Michelle at the Nordstrom’s Brea store.. it was the first time in several years that for the Anniversary Sale the style for the Michelle watch was a sought after Caber design and people went crazy for it. Knowing that Michele doesn’t discount like that. She also reaffirmed as had the rep from Michele that the plating was numerous layers and wasn’t anything I needed to worry about. However the sales price was correct Nordstrom had marked the anniversary pricing down.. it was just incredibly lucky and meant to be that I got the watch.
Fast forward a few weeks back… yep insomnia can work… Nordstrom browsing and WOW WHAT another diamond caber pops up and it’s the sale price again.. I thought ok no way would the order go thru… hmmm…. wow ok it did…. well surely I’ll get another email saying we can’t fulfill your order… nope instead I got a shipping confirmation later that day YowZA! LOL now what would I do with two Diamond Cabers? I thought well surely I’ll know someone who wants it, that’s just incredible… I asked around many did however it just wasn’t in their budget.
I’m not a resale person… however gosh it got me to thinking I should be, haha I seem to have a knack for finding sales and jumping on things when I see them (ask most I just know pricing on things I like whether it’s Target, Pottery Barn, RH, WS and now Michelle) and I’ll buy when it’s a great deal.
So yes I do have an incredible deal on a Michele Diamond Caber watch Nordstrom Anniversary 2018 for sale.. it’s $1347.49 plus the tax I paid of $128.01 for total of $1475. (cash price) no objections to credit cards just pay the fees for them 3% more… $44.00 sale is final I don’t do returns… you can call Jennifer or Melissa at the Nordstroms in Montclair Ca. to verify I purchased both watches in their store one is mine the second is new in the box with tags etc.

I’m putting this out there so that someone can be as lucky as I was … I looked in to the eBay…. postmark (wow 30% fee) and the RealReal (40%fee) it would raise the price back up to or beyond the anniversary price … I have no problem in anyone verifying the purchase or calling the store to verify it’s authentic and no scam.. If no one wants it, I love that returning it to Nordstrom where who knows who will be lucky is not a problem (what do you bet it will be sold to an employee or family member and you’d never see it)
For anyone interested in how this all began….
Let’s start at the beginning… last few days of sale and they did have the caber in Silver and Rose Gold still available… in talking with the sales associate no way even on the waiting list they had would there be a chance of getting the diamond one 🙁
Story goes the Diamond Caber sold out in a few hours of the first day… many level 4 clients ordered and had their orders cancelled even. I did hear Michele made more for Nordstrom do some pretty unhappy level 4’s. Anyway pretty and sparkles however I still wanted convinced on the basics of Michele. I don’t have plated jewelry… seems pretty pricey to have real diamonds and the base be stainless plated? Here’s the story from the start…
Nordstrom Arcadia… OK bought the silver caber … on the way home thought … well it’s ok but really whats the deal.. the same day I got home called Nordstrom Montclair they had the rose gold.. one so much better!!
Jennifer the manager at Nordstrom Montclair was a tremendous help.. she explained how they have multiple layers of plating… and yes they can be replated … yay Gamechanger! I mean really who wants something that loses luster and that’s it.. this was huge for me. Jennifer went on to explain… to keep it the best longest… no perfume, no lotion, no chemicals as that a really effects the finish of truthfully anything. Again fabulous info and made completely logical sense, I was working with Melissa who gladly did a return of the silver and my purchase of the rosegold along with a few fun things to accent it.
Experienced shopping pays off….I had been watching the Nordstrom sales online.. and I see that WHAT the rosegold watch I had was online and available for less then what I had paid with the anniversary pricing (we all know it’s suppose to go up after sale not down).. I called Nordstrom and yes indeed it was on sale they honored and made a price adjustment for me. Nordstrom has their tremendous customer service reputation for a reason, and they showed it.
